I've seen a few other people talking about different “lossless”
audio formats. Now while I agree with certain
aspects of this topic, there are some I do not. So here we have 2
versions of a track From “The Future Sound Of London –
We Have Explosives EP”. Both are Track #2 “We Have
Explosives (Part 2)” remixed by Leon Mar. I'm not going to
bore you with details (you can get them your self from WinAMP).

But listen to them. Can anyone tell the difference? Now I must
admit that the Speakers on this computer are not the best in the
world, but you make your own minds up. I'm not convinced that the
process is worth it because of the following:
1) 2.5 increase in file size.
2) Length of time to rip to FLAC.
3) No audiable quality difference.
Do some tests for yourselfs and see if you get any different results. Personally I dont think FLAC is worth it. Sorry....... |
